Mortgage insurance increase

Did you know that FHA is increasing the MI (mortgage insurance) rate by around 19% for new deals effective April 9th:

Old upfront MI 1.00% will go up to 1.75% April 9th
Old monthly MI will go from 1.15% to 1.25% April 9th
